Tech Notes: This Hofner plays well with medium action. The frets are tall and show moderate wear. The bass appears to have been re-necked with a late 1970s neck. This is believed to be the case based on a number of physical appointments. The body indicates 1963/1964 based on the pickups, pickup ring size and electronics cavity plate size. The neck appears to have been made after 1975 due to the stamped serial number, lacquered over decal, and the three-piece construction.
