Description

This instrument is in great condition and is barely used, showing only minor signs of usage from display on our showroom floor.

From Hofner:

A new and exceptional vintage violin bass model, beautifully aged for the authentic look of a vintage instrument, but with the advantage of a sound new bass.

To achieve the remarkably aged finish, our violin makers use secret paint recipes and working techniques.

The 61-RLC is inspired by the bass we made for Paul McCartney in 1961: with a non-framed 3-part neck and individual mechanics.

Every bass is a unique instrument, no two are exactly the same, because the aging process is done individually by hand.

All models are supplied with a pearloid pickguard (not assembled) and Höfner vintage belt and case.

Yes! If you’re near Lawrence Township, NJ, you can reserve a guitar on our website and try it in person. Reservation ensures it won’t be sold before your visit.
