Introduction:
You’re looking at something special right here — the ESP Eclipse 40th Anniversary, made in 2015 to honor four decades of killer craftsmanship from ESP. This one’s dressed in See Thru Black Sunburst with a carved top and gold hardware, and trust me, it looks even better in person. It’s not just a looker though — it plays and sounds like a dream, with that signature Eclipse feel and tone.

The Story:
I picked this one up knowing it wouldn’t come around again — it was part of a limited run, and ESP absolutely nailed the balance between tradition and firepower here. The flame top is gorgeous under stage lights (or living room lights, I won’t judge), and the EMGs just roar. Think warm cleans from the 60 and full-on bite from the 81 — it’s built for versatility and attitude.
It hasn’t been gigged, just gently played and well cared for. Everything’s stock and it includes the original 40th Anniversary hard case with the commemorative plaque.
Conclusion / CTA:
If you’re looking for a guitar that plays beautifully, turns heads, and actually means something in ESP’s history, this Eclipse 40th Anniversary is it. It’s got the looks, the tone, and that sweet limited-edition status.
