Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows normal wear for its age; the finish is glossy with patches of wear and small blemishes throughout. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash, and there are additional patches of bare wood and small finish chips around the edges of the body. The pickguard is cracked near the output jack but is stabilized with a small washer on one of the screws. The neck finish is glossy with a few small marks.
Serial Number: 548420
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action. The neck is very straight even with the truss rod fully loosened, and so the bass sets up best with 45-100 or heavier strings. The frets are wide and low with minor wear, and the bass has been set up to play cleanly and accommodate these factors. The neck heel stamp dates to 1972, and the pot codes and serial number date to 1974.
