The Ibanez Iron Label RGIM7MH is part of the metal-focused Iron Label Line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. For the ultimate in playability Ibanez took their legendary super-thin, ultra-playable Wizard neck, and upped the ante to Nitro Wizard – as fast and comfortable but with added road-tested durability. Purposefully Spartan, you won’t find a feature here that doesn’t contribute directly to rattling bones or waking the dead.
The RGIM7MH’s distinctive fretboard features fanned frets with a 27″ scale length at the seventh string and a 25.5″ scale length at the first string giving you a longer scale length on the bass side of the instrument and a shorter scale on the treble side. Not only does this offer you better intonation across all seven strings, but the higher tension on the low strings adds muscle and punch to your tone. And the higher strings have a familiar scale length for great single-string performance. The equalized string tension of this design contributes to a more “alive” tone while the fanned fret layout provides an ergonomic platform for the player’s hand as it moves up and down the neck facilitating speed and comfort.
A lot of guitars can play metal, but the Ibanez Iron Label RGIM7MH was born for it.
We run a brick & morter store @ The Guitar Rescue. These are not my personal items. Trade value will be appraised at 80% of used value determined by average Reverb Sold Prices. If the instrument you are looking at is new (Eastman/Fano) appraised value will be increased to 85%. Our policy is as generous as a store can offer and keep the lights on.
We accept: Eastman, Fano, Novo, PRS, Gibson, Fender, Musicman, Charvel and a few others. No amps but pedals are fine:)
